How the past edges out the future

When we — this includes me too! — look in the rear view mirror too long, especially if it’s something that makes us feel bad or down, it gets in the way of having what we want in the future.

Actually, the future never really gets here. The past isn’t just about what has or hasn’t happened to us, it’s also about what we were told and how we were treated growing up.
