What does it mean, know your value?

Knowing your value is one of the most important steps when it comes to self-realization, and that’s something you must master before achieving prosperity. The Universe has everything you need to become successful, but you need to assimilate that first in order to activate it.

Every soul is a precious one, and has come to this planet to accomplish a mission. It is different for each one of us, and sometimes our unique mission helps others find theirs. That’s where your knowing your value is important, especially since there are beautiful Soul’s just like you, who are here to shine their light and guide others to finding their way.

You are a sensitive Spiritual Entrepreneur, an important and prosperous and bright human being whose very own existence makes this Universe a special. Know this, embrace this, understand this and you´ll feel your purpose manifest itself from the inside, as a warmth that overcomes and surrounds you and everything that comes close to you. This is part of your value, love and the manifestation of the Universal Love that encourages you to step out beyond where you’ve been.

After many years of studying and understanding what it is I have to offer, it became clear to me that there are three levels to owning your value …

#1: Accepting the value that your services, products and programs help your clients achieve through transformation. Your experiences and all those lessons learned contribute to who you are right now and the way you help those who come to you for help.

#2: Stepping into your value; letting go of what others might say or think about you, doubting your skills and abilities as a spiritual and holistic professional – whatever your area of expertise is. It’s essential to quiet the conscious mind Ego-chitter chatter. Be aware of the ‘naysayers’ that attempt to pour their negativity onto you and your dreams. When others say “you can´t do this” they are showing you their limitations, not yours.

#3: You get to claim your value by not giving it away to everyone for free. There must always be an exchange of energy. Without the exchange, true and complete transformation is not possible for your client. Until you accept who you are, the true value of what you have to offer can’t truly help others accomplish the kinds of results they want.  So, stop giving YOU away for free or next to nothing.

K … sounds good but what does that really mean and how do you do that?

For years, I thought it was just accepting who you are. You know ‘speaking your truth’ of who you are and what you came here to do.

Sheesh … that’s just the tip of this really. And it wasn’t until just recently that I figured that out!

Here are the three layers to actually stepping into your value:

#1 – Accepting the value your services, products and programs help your clients achieve …

What you have to offer — what you ARE REALLY offering potential clients — is TRANSFORMATION.

Take a deep breath and think about for just a moment, or two or five … your experiences, the lessons learned all contribute to who you are right now and the way you help those who come to you for help.

#2 – Stepping into your value, letting go of what others might say or think about you, doubting your skills and abilities as an Intuitive, Empath Coach, readings, coaching, consulting, graphics, energy healing, mindset ….

Most of the time what’s ‘playing round and round’ in your head, are the stories, fears and experiences from people in your life who THINK they are doing you a FAVOR by telling you all the horrible, awful things that could happen or not happen if you follow this ‘fanciful dream’ of doing what your Heart and Soul are calling you to do.

STOP listening to all the naysayers …

#3 – Claiming your value by no longer giving “it” away or barely charging for the transformation that others get when they work with you …

What you do is amazing! Yes, I can say this even if we have not met or may never meet face-to-face. Because I already believe in you and what you came here to do.

I’ve been there — hearing what family and friends have said when they thought I couldn’t hear them. I did. It burned. It cut really deep. I held in the tears because by-golly they were not going to see my cry or how they had hurt with their snide remarks!

Now the bad part about holding in all that negativity is that it stayed, buried super deep inside my heart and it took nearly a life-time to dig it back up, heal and let it go.

Until you accept who you are, the true value of what you offer can help others accomplish AND stop giving YOU away for free or next to nothing … well, there’s more to do within you.

#2 – Yup, email inboxes are stuffed to the gills and back again BUT if you’re not collecting email addresses and emailing your online community at least 2 or 3 times a week, they are going to forget all about you and what you have to offer them that is really going to help them.

#3 – Social Media is and has been ‘where it’s at’ for quite some time. Maybe you and I are connected on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or Facebook. Posts are about a wide range of topics are related to or directly about Empaths and Energy and Angels too, of course. All the posts have information to help someone who takes the time to read or watch one of the few hundred videos I’ve done over the years.

#4 – Blog Posts or Articles, like this one that speak to the persons you want to attract and would love to work with AND these amazing beautiful Souls are waiting for YOU to help them find you. When you write about what it is you do in a way that speaks to your potential clients and customers, the energy is out there and it makes it easier to be found.

#5 – Okay, you have been ‘this’ for a while now, maybe a few months or even a few years and there are clients and customers who may not have heard from you lately or ever since their last session. Reach out; make a phone call, send an email, text or Private Message. Start with a “hello how are you” and go from there. Will everyone you reach out to say ‘yes’ … probably not. If you don’t reach out at all, you’re not going to connect to the ones who really need you right now.

#6 – How about offering a Free Challenge? Here are a few ideas: Tarot Challenge; Intuitive Connection Challenge; Facebook Live Challenge; Raise Your Vibe Challenge or how about a Challenge that reflects your specific skills and talents as a reader, healer, coach or consultant?

#7 – Host a Telesummit, choose a topic and invite Guest Speakers. Or you could Interview colleagues in your field of expertise. You get to know your colleagues and they get to know you AND your potential clients and customers get to see more of you too.

#8 – Hand Out Flyers or Business Cards in Local Area Businesses, in your city or town … or a neighboring town. This gives you an opportunity to become more visible and known in your area. You never know who prefers to meet with a Reader, Healer, Coach or Consultant face-to-face. Maybe offer to teach classes in the Metaphysical Coffee or book Shops.

#9 – Cross-promote a colleague with a complimentary service, class or workshop. This could help both you and your colleague offer a package that is even juicier to attract even more people for both of you. You could take it a step further and go-in-with 2 others for an even wider reach.

3 Mistakes about being found

Hello beautiful Soul,

Have you heard this before — build it and they will come! — there’s a lot of truth in that statement AND there’s soooo much more to it than that.

It’s not always easy or simple these days. The Internet makes everything it seems, at our fingertips. BUT unless you know exactly what to do or how to do it — getting yourself out there to be seen, that is — it can be overwhelming.

That’s how I felt when I first started in September 2010. I had no idea where to start, what to say or how to even begin creating, much less maintaining an online presence.

Sure I had a website and had already started building an email list. Then what ..

Well, that brings us to 3 mistakes about being found, which cost you time, energy and income:

Mistake #1: Assuming that just because you’re on Social Media, people are going to start liking, commenting and sharing your posts (images, content)

For three months, after I created and published my first Facebook Fan Page, and posting tips, really good tips every day, there was soooo much SILENCE it was deafening. It was discouraging, frustrating and I felt like a complete an utter failure.

Mistake #2: Assuming that just because you’re known or have built a following in your local area that it will immediately transfer to the Internet.

Each time you start something ‘new’ like adding a new service, class or program, you’re starting at ground zero. After a time, as people get to know, like and trust you more, it’s like they (potential clients and customers) can’t get enough of what you offer because they KNOW who you are and that you are amazing at what you do to help others.
