Being able to speak with love, compassion and with authenticity is very empowering. Being consciously aware of who you is an important piece or part of expressing your truth, first to yourself with your own voice and the thousands of thoughts that are constantly running through your mind.
It isn’t always easy to speak your truth, it is essential if you want to free yourself from negative thoughts and emotions which lower your inner vibration, keeping you stuck in the muck of what others say or have said.

If you are more concerned with what others will think, say, react or how they will feel than speaking your truth, your Throat Chakra will become blocked with negative, non-flowing energy.
This isn’t giving you permission to speak unkindly to anyone, including you. It is about saying what needs to be with as compassion as possible.
When you hold on to something you really feel the need to express because you are afraid of the consequences, or the way someone will perceive you, you swallow fear energy which is then collected and stored in your Throat Chakra, causing your energy to be blocked.
When your Throat Chakra energy is blocked or clogged with fear, you dis-empower yourself in many ways.
