Spiritual Expansion – Honor Where You Are What does this mean?

What does “honor where you are” mean? Does it mean you have to “stay where you are”? No, it means, feel your feelings, experience your emotions. It is not about: dwelling in negativity, fear, lack or launching a full on pity party for yourself. It is about acknowledging where you are in this moment, allowing yourself to purge what you are feeling. It is about being able to release the fear of not realizing your dreams, doing what you want, having a loving partner or attaining your financial goals. It does means detoxing your thoughts, your emotions, your physical body and your Aura, creating space for that which you do want to attract into your life.

Honoring your feelings means not “stuffing” or rowing down the river of “denial”. Everyone is entitled to express what they feel, a little “time-out” now and again. This does not give you or anyone else “license” to blast off, blow off or simply rant and rave about how “bad things are”. It does grant you a temporary pass to be with yourself, to reach out to someone who loves and supports you unconditionally to help you through this situation.

Do you not honor everything that is positive in your life? You celebrate many things; why not “celebrate” cleansing your emotions, healing heartbreak, easing disappointment. In honoring the opposite of all that is positive in your life, you are creating a vacuum for all you desire. You are creating healing in a positive, non-judgmental way for yourself. In healing your inner Self, you create an opportunity for forgiveness for all the mistakes you think you have made. In reality there are no mistakes. There are only choices made, choices which always lead you to where you are to be. True, some of the choices appear to be or have been distractions, detours along the way and indeed many are. This is not to say you would have appreciated where you are less had you chosen a more direct path. You simply did the best you could at the time. Now, you are free to choose again and again and again.

Tears are a sign of a shift in energy, a cleansing of the Soul, detoxing your emotions. It is not shameful or a sign of weakness to be vulnerable, to exhibit emotion, to need comfort. Part of walking the path in the physical realm is having, expressing and experiencing emotion. Being vulnerable requires strength and courage placing one foot in front of the other, wearing a smile on your face until it once again becomes your natural, joyous expression of your true Self. Being vulnerable is another way to say, here I am, I am open to all that awaits me, all that is for my highest and best good. I am here and I am choosing to open my heart and keep it open.

To feel emotion, to really feel it, is a gift for there are many more joys to celebrate than there are sorrows. If you are experiencing more sorrow than joy, it is time beloved on to really take a look at where you are and shift your focus, your energy to begin again.

Tip of the Week – Gift of Choice

What is choice? What does it mean to give the “gift of choice”? Like so many, many other ideas and concepts, there are countless ways to define or understand the “gift of choice”. I offer to you my perception, if it resonates keep it, if it does not resonate within you perhaps it will assist you in getting to where you choose to be along your path.

Choice is being able to release that which is not serving your highest and best good, your Higher Self. Choice is being willing to accept unconditionally, paths chose by those around you without judgement. Choice is forgiving myself from having judged, having been harsh in a moment of stress or heartfelt sorrow. Choice is being willing to consider another’s point of view without having to agree and accept it as my own. Choice is a gift I give myself and others.

This is what choice is not, as I understand it. It is not expecting someone else, to include myself, to accept all you say or do as truth. Your truth is not always the same for another person no matter how close, understanding or accepting they are of you and your ways, your beliefs. Choice is not expecting someone else to adopt your way of thinking if it does not resonate within them.

Choice is a gift you give first to yourself, for you cannot easily give to another with authenticity that which you do not first give you. Choice is a gift to begin again without fear of reprisal, fear of having failed, fear of not being accepted. Choice simply is a gift to choose again and again and again.

Spiritual Expansion – How to Expand Your Spiritual Awareness

Reaching for the SKy ever expanding awareness

There are many ways in which to expand your horizons, reading, studying, practicing all you learn along the way. We will begin to explore 6 intuitive gifts to expand your conscious mind, your inner Spirit enabling you to increase your awareness along your own journey in the physical realm.

*Clairaudience is clear hearing. It is the ability to hear the still small voice within, the voices of your Angelic Guides, or Spirit Guides. It is essential to practice the art of attentive listening, to sort through the myriad of random thoughts playing and re-playing in your head. Be willing to open yourself to receiving guidance from a variety of sources. For example, a song playing on the radio repeatedly may be the key to your questions.

*Clairsentience is feeling, sensing information with your emotions, your emotional energy body. It is being empathic, being in-tune with you and with other people, places or situations. People who are Clairsentient are very sensitive to energy, their own and everyone else’s’. They will experience sudden chills, have gut feelings, or a prickly sensation on the back of their neck warning them about a person or to be aware of what is happening around them.

*Clairvoyance is by definition “clear seeing” or seeing clearly through your inner sight. If you are a very visual person, it is very possible you have the gift of Clairvoyance. Answers or messages may be gifted to you in the form of dreams or visions during you waking hours. As a child I would often daydream, my conscious mind would slip away from what was happening around me.

* Claircognizance is a feeling, a knowing; one that usually resonates in your Solar Plexus or Heart Chakra. Become aware of how your body reacts. You will, in time, become more and more aware. Another way of describing this is a sudden “aha” moment.

*Meditation is as easy or as difficult as you chose to make it. Mediation is quieting the mind, clearing out unnecessary “mind chatter,” enabling you to allow your inner guidance, your intuition to become part of your conscious mind.  It is listening to soft soothing music, contemplating a phrase or quote, reciting a Mantra, saying the Rosary, or a Mala.

*Automatic writing is a form of communication which is intuitively received or channeled through you from the Realm of Spirit into physical form.  It is receiving information or messages without editing your thoughts, without judging what comes through you. Before you begin, it is essential to protect yourself by surrounding you and the area in which you choose to practice receiving Divine Guidance in white light.

Divine Guidance is received and given in many, many forms, through a variety of channels or mechanisms. Which of these gifts resonate with you?  Are you open to receiving information, messages from the Realm of Spirit?
