To clarify a bit before getting much further, when your thoughts and emotions are focused on something for any length of time, you draw more of the same to you.

The more you resist something or someone, the more you draw the same kind of experience and same type of people to you.

This is the Law of Attraction at work in its purest form. What you focus on expands because you are infusing your thoughts and emotions with energy. Energy is everything and everything is energy, pure and simple and not so simple.

Let’s look at the definitions of emotion, thought, inner, compass and prosperity according to the Oxford American Dictionary.

Emotion: natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances or mood; any of the particular feelings that characterize such a state of mind as joy, anger, love or hate.

Thought: an idea or opinion produced by thinking or occurring suddenly in the mind; an idea or mental picture, imagined or contemplated.

Inner: situated inside or further in; internal; close to the center

Compass: an instrument containing a magnetized pointer that shows or indicates a direction or specific heading

Prosperity: successful in material terms; flourishing financially; flourish in business and in life

What you focus on you bring to you sooner rather than later. What you attempt to resist is actually bringing to you what you don’t want simply by feeding or projecting energy into or onto something or someone you don’t want.

Have you ever noticed that when you stub your toe all you can think about is the pain of your throbbing toe?

When your thoughts and emotions are focused on something that is negative like pain, you attract situations, things and people who are in an unpleasant mood or simply negative.

When you are in a happier or more positive mood, you attract more things, situations and people to you that are happy and excited about life in general.

More to the point, when you are thinking negative thoughts such as I hate being here, hate this job, don’t like these people or unhappy with your current circumstances, you are projecting negative energy.

If you are thinking about the many blessings in your life and being grateful, you are focusing on and projecting positive energy attracting more things, situations and people to appreciate and be grateful for.

In this way, as simple as it may seem, your thoughts and emotions are your inner compass to prosperity.

Negative energy lowers your wealth frequency. Positive energy raises your wealth frequency.

If you don’t like where you are, what you are feeling of the kinds of thoughts you are having, change them. Find something that you can feel better about.

Decide to change your thoughts and what you think about changes. Choose to feel differently, and what you attract into your life and experience changes.

As you think and feel, you create your reality. It is a process. It can be done overnight, so to speak, but most of us aren’t capable of sustaining an overnight shift or transformation for very long.

What you can do is become aware of what you are thinking and feeling and make course corrections along the way until what you think and feel is much more positive.

This is a practice and the more you practice, the more you raise your inner vibration and your wealth frequency.
